We met the way many modern love stories begin: on a dating app. What started as easy conversation over text quickly turned into a first date—and a very good excuse to see Avatar: The Way of Water. From there, things moved fast in all the best ways: hilarious golf dates, all-you-can-eat sushi nights, quite a few movie marathons.We clicked instantly. Andrew will tell you he knew she was the one after their first golf date—jamming out to the same music, keeping pace on the course, and thinking, “Well hell, she can keep up with me and we like the same music… let’s see how far this goes.” The ride never stopped—it just keeps getting better. Heather will tell you she knew he was the one from the first meeting in person, thinking, “Wow… now that is a full-fledged man.” And from that moment on, the rest truly is history. Now, the only thing left on the checklist is finding a home big enough for the many dogs Heather will inevitably want to adopt—and Andrew will lovingly agree to, just like their newest addition, Andarna. 🐾💛

Andrew is a Sushi feind and Tha Joint Sushi &amp; Grill is his AYCE go-to. It’s a casual, lively place with consistently great sushi, and he always starts with the mussels—they’re a must. After that, he never skips either the upside-down shrimp or a Mickey Mouse roll, both packed with flavor and a little indulgent. Simple rule: follow his order and you can’t go wrong. It's also a hop skip and a jump from his old stomping grounds, Discount Tire - Sparks.

For Destiny, Rancho San Rafael Regional Park is an easy favorite. It’s peaceful with wide open spaces, great views, and plenty of paths to get some steps in. Plus, there are often fun events going on, so it never feels boring—just a relaxing spot to hang out and enjoy the day.

Heather's favorite place in town is a little weird. She loves driving down W Robinson St in Carson City towards the Governors Mansion. The historic houmes in this area are gorgeous and when the leave have turned a burnt amber/orange in the Fall, it is a sight to behold. The best way to see this area is the follow the Kit Carson Trail Tour.
